At the recent CG conference in London I was demoed a copy of Video
Painter. This was produced by a french company who frankly required a
24-bit DPaint and so went and wrote one themselves.
This package does not support the animation features of later DPaints -
but is a very fast and expressive 24-bit painting tool with an interface
immediately recognizable to DPainters.
Sadly in the UK the distributors wanted =A3700 while in the US I have seen
it advertised for $450.
---
Glyn, any particulars on company name, publisher, US distributor? Is it a
32bit Windows program? Was there any word on adding DPaint style =
animation, specifically animbrushes and the move requester?
